The 2023 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo is showcasing breakthrough innovations shaping the future of clinical testing and patient care. More...

The world's largest exhibition for in vitro diagnostics is hosted every year by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (Washington, DC, USA).  AACC 2023 is being held from July 23-27 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, where laboratory medicine experts are presenting cutting-edge research and technology.

Attendees can benefit from a stunning lineup of expert speakers and scientific sessions, as well as view a vast array of emerging technologies and products at the premier global laboratory medicine exposition. The AACC Clinical Lab Expo offers attendees the opportunity to browse more than 900 exhibitors across over 200 product categories in person for solutions to their lab-related needs. They can connect with global leaders in clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, mass spectrometry, translational medicine, lab management, and other fields of breaking science in laboratory medicine. Attendees can also hear vital research and learn about important changes in the field. With over 250 educational opportunities in the form of lectures, plenary sessions, scientific sessions, and roundtable sessions, they can design an educational experience that fulfills their need to keep ahead of the changes in their field.

At AACC 2023, attendees can visit the electronic billboard outside the Expo Hall entrance to learn about innovative new products and services. They have the opportunity to interact with the product showcase to obtain detailed product and service information. Attendees can also learn about the latest diagnostic technologies and services in 20-minute lecture series presentations at the theater conveniently located in the exhibit hall without the need to leave the action of the Expo. At the exhibit hall theaters, attendees can learn about new diagnostic breakthroughs and significant developments in laboratory medicine. Industry workshops are also being offered in nearby hotels. Posters of accepted abstracts are on display in the Poster Hall on the Expo Show floor for both scientific conference and expo hall attendees to visit.

This year, the AACC Clinical Lab Expo is providing additional opportunities to network with colleagues and make new connections. The Clinical Lab Expo Happy Hour is back this year where attendees can mix and mingle and will receive one complimentary drink ticket. They can also enjoy an afternoon break on the expo floor with light refreshments to recharge and connect with fellow attendees and exhibitors. This year, AACC is once again hosting its popular annual Laboratory Feud – a special game show-style event. The two teams, Faculty vs. Fellows, will compete by continuing the celebration of AACC’s 75th anniversary with coverage in different areas of laboratory medicine including history, nutrition, pre-analytical errors, testing methods, immunology, point-of-care testing, TDM and toxicology, among others. To remind everyone of all the innovations the field has seen in the past 75 years, the feud will end with a fast money/lightning round that focuses exclusively on AACC history trivia.
