A new four-port anaerobic workstation has remote monitoring, allowing access from any computer or mobile device with a secure internet connection.

The Whitley A95 Workstation is the largest model in the Don Whitley Scientific (Shipley, United Kingdom) range of modified atmosphere chambers. More...
It incorporates full color, touch screen technology.

The system comprises an integral 30 L airlock with automatic internal door, which can transfer 90 plates in only 5 minutes. It has cost-effective, dual gas operation that contributes to low running costs. Its remote monitoring enables users to review and alter system settings, change user access levels, and receive expert product support. It also possesses a maintenance free dehumidification system for automatic humidity control.

The A95 features four oval, manual, sleeved ports that enable two people to operate simultaneously within the same workstation. Each porthole also acts as a small airlock so that the user can transfer 10 plates through each time the user inserts or withdraws his arms, so reducing airlock cycles and gas usage.

The manufacturing of the workstation is carried out in the Don Whitley Scientific factory. This allows the company to offer a range of additional options and accessories to tailor a system to a customer’s specific requirements. Such options include a single plate entry system, internal power socket, automatic sleeve gassing, or a microscope attachment. The company also manufactures other products that are ideal for use in conjunction with the A95 such as the Whitley Petrifoto System and the Mini-Incubator.

Don Whitley Scientific Limited is an international supplier of equipment and services to the microbiology and tissue culture industries. The company develops, manufactures, markets, and services instrumentation and associated products for the public and private sector - primarily for use in hospitals, public health laboratories, food testing organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions.
