A new, compact liquid handling platform for high precision single to multichannel pipetting provides enhanced flexibility with a unique deck design and a selection of accessories.

Based on 25 years of experience in precision liquid handling to support a broad range of applications, CyBio AG (Jena, Germany) has designed the new “CyBi-FeliX” to offer a more flexible and compact automated liquid handling platform. On a footprint of only 650 x 650 x 450 mm (W x H x D) to fit almost any benchtop, its unique deck design offers 12 positions on two levels for microplates, tube racks, reservoirs and tips. Also available is a selection of optional accessories such as tip wash station and microplate heating-cooling.

The platform can be adjusted to meet a wide variety of application requirements through appropriate combination of pipetting heads and accessories any time. For reliable precision in the required applications, choose between the interchangeable 96-/384-channel pipetting heads (e.g., for whole microplate processing) and the “CHOICE” pipetting head with a unique volume range of 500 nL to 1 mL. Along with the parallel processing of whole 96- and 384-well microplates, the CyBi-FeliX also allows to work in single wells, rows, and columns without the need for manual intervention, and provides format flexibility with automatic loading of adapters and tips.

The CyBi-FeliX is a highly suitable precision platform for a wide variety of automated liquid handling laboratory tasks such as filling of plates and tubes, creating reaction set-ups for PCR and sequencing, ELISA, hit picking or pooling of samples, and serial dilutions.
