(Palm City, FL, USA) has announced major upgrades to its Stat Fax 4700 ELISA strip reader, including an updated user interface, new touchscreen, faster processing and improved memory capacity.

Awareness is a worldwide leader in clinical laboratory instruments and diagnostic kits for the low to medium throughput lab. The company’s products are used primarily in IVD, as well as in life science research, food safety, veterinary, and environmental applications. Specializing in immunochemistry biochemistry, and electrolytes, Awareness manufactures automated and semi-automated systems, including chemistry analyzers, equipment for routine health screening, plus allergy, autoimmune, and infectious disease testing

Stat Fax from Awareness has been serving laboratory needs worldwide for more than 25 years. The Stat Fax4700 semi-automated ELISA programmable strip reader is ideal for reading ELISA microwell strips in laboratories and institutions where small runs of ELISA assays are routine. Assays can easily be programmed using the touch screen interface with filters ranging from 340 nm - 630 nm. The robust instrument is factory calibrated and maintenance free.

The Stat Fax 4700 has now received some major upgrades such as an updated user interface with a graphical GUI similar to those found in smart phones. It also offers improved responsiveness with the implementation of a new touchscreen, faster processing and the ability to change languages through the menu settings. The upgraded Stat Fax 4700 offers significantly higher memory capacity with the ability to store 140 programmed tests and load a custom startup screen for personalization of the instrument that has also been implemented into the software. All the calculation modes, reporting functions, the ability to request customized filters (405-650 nm) upon purchase, and the ability to customize test parameters remain the same, but function faster.
