Zeesan Biotech (Fujian, China) displayed its DNA automated extraction system and real-time PCR kits for MDR/XDR-TB, HPV, HBB, etc. More...
at MEDLAB Middle East, the world’s largest attended laboratory and IVD exhibition and conference.

Zeesan is a biomedical company specializing in the development and production of molecular diagnostics related kits, instruments and reagents. The company’s product range includes the MeltPro series of molecular diagnostics products, automated DNA extraction machines and visible-light gel electrophoresis systems. At the MEDLAB Middle East 2018 held in Dubai, UAE, from February 5-8, 2018, Zeesan exhibited its Lab-Aid 824 nucleic acid extraction system, which enables automated, fast, reliable isolation and purification of high-quality nucleic acids for up to 24 samples per run. The entire extraction process is controlled by software and the system is intended for in vitro diagnostic use to provide high quality nucleic acid suitable for direct use in downstream application, such as amplification or other enzymatic reactions.

Visitors at Zeesan’s stand at the event also viewed the company’s wide range of real-time PCR kits for MDR/XDR-TB, HPV, HBB, etc. The company’s MeltPro High Risk HPV Genotyping Assay is a qualitative in vitro test kit used for HPV genotyping using cervical cells collected by swab, TCT or LCT. The test utilizes Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for DNA amplification and nucleic acid hybridization for the detection of low-risk HPV types in one reaction. The MeltPro HBB test kit is meant for the detection of 12 gene mutations common in the Pakistani population, which are related to β –Thalassemia and is used for β-Thalassemia screening based on polymerase chain reaction and nucleic acid hybridization.
