Posted on 12 Dec 2012
A benchtop, fully automated, random access, clinical chemistry analyzer offers routine and specialized testing on one platform.

The RX Daytona plus was developed for mid-volume laboratories and is capable of running 270 photometric tests per hour or 450 tests per hour including ISE’s via the optional ISE unit. More...
A low water consumption of 5 L per hour ensures running costs are kept to a minimum and a special loading hatch allows emergency samples to be analyzed quickly and easily at any time.

The RX series test menu and the ability to run emergency samples ensures efficiency and rapid turnaround of STAT samples. The Randox (Crumlin, United Kingdom) RX Daytona plus is the only analyzer in its class with a sample clot detection sensor and offers many of the features typically found on a larger automated analyzer but in a more compact format. The Microsoft Windows based software offers ease of navigation through a symbol-based interface ensuring minimal training requirements.

The Randox RX Daytona plus analyzer can be utilized within many laboratory settings including clinical chemistry, research, food and wine testing, veterinary, education, and toxicology. It provides solutions for complete consolidation, offering a broad range of assays, instruments, Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assessment (EQA) available from a sole supplier.
